As a new semester begins at Shiiou University, the Genshiken club, dedicated to modern visual culture, eagerly welcomes fresh faces. Initially a haven for otaku bonding over their shared passion for anime, manga, and video games, the club's current leader, Chika Ogiue, faces a challenge with the arrival of enthusiastic yaoi-loving fujoshis. Simultaneously, the former Genshiken members who have graduated must navigate their transition into responsible adults in society.
