When nonchalant high schooler Saburou dismisses Japan's historical relevance to his life, a peculiar twist of fate transports him back to the Sengoku Era. There, he materializes in front of the iconic general Nobunaga Oda. Fleeing from his followers and seeking respite due to his ailing health, Nobunaga implores Saburou to stand in for him, citing their striking resemblance. Armed with little understanding of his new environment but armed with modern insights, Saburou sets off on an unforeseen journey, masquerading as the ambitious figure who aimed to unify Japan.
