After a shoulder injury forces him to abandon judo, introverted college freshman Haruki Bandou is relieved to leave the sport that never brought him joy, despite his family's martial arts legacy. Surprisingly, his close friend Kazuma Hashimoto also quits the university's judo club, proposing an unconventional idea: forming an all-male cheerleading squad. Reluctantly, Haruki joins Kazuma in creating the Breakers, Meishiin University's first male cheerleading team. As they challenge stereotypes and battle their own insecurities and obstacles, the duo, along with their supportive teammates, embark on a journey to redefine tradition and leave a mark in the history of their school.
