While hunting bugs in his youth, Jin Mikuriya stumbles upon a deity that sparks his creativity, leading to his latest masterpiece: The Tree Spirit. Eager to showcase it at school, Jin anticipates a day of admiration. However, as he attempts to move the wooden statue, it unexpectedly transforms into a charming girl named Nagi, self-proclaimed guardian of the earth. Nagi insists that Jin aid her in purging the land of 'impurities,' a task made challenging by her powerless state after her tree's destruction. Armed only with a magical wand, Nagi and Jin embark on a journey intertwined with daily adventures, gradually unraveling each other's mysteries.
