In the virtual reality game CtG (Cradle to the Glaive), Kasugai Yuu unexpectedly marries Miifa and soon becomes a parent to their in-game child, Haruha. To their surprise, Haruha begins to grow not only in the game but also in the real world. When the real Haruha and her mother, known as Kugimiya, appear, Yuu and Miharu find themselves faced with the task of raising and guiding the child who may hold the key to humanity's destiny. Balancing their roles as parents both online and offline, they embark on a journey filled with challenges and revelations.
