Once a popular hot springs inn, Yuragi-sou now serves as a bargain boarding house with minimal occupants, rumored to be haunted by a malevolent ghost that deters potential tenants. Enter Fuyuzora Kogarashi, a destitute psychic in search of inexpensive lodging and restless spirits to banish. Bracing himself to confront the alleged ghost, Kogarashi is surprised to discover a kind-hearted spirit instead—Yuuna, a lovely silver-haired specter with fragmented memories of her past life. To his amazement, the other eccentric tenants not only perceive Yuuna's presence but also possess their unique supernatural talents. Amidst the zany antics of his new housemates, Kogarashi endeavors to unearth Yuuna's lingering sorrow, preventing her from succumbing to a dark fate that awaits tormented souls in the afterlife.
