Mafuyu Satou, holding his cherished Gibson guitar, ventures out from his dim abode to engage in another day at high school. Discovering a serene nook on the gym stairs for a snooze, his path crosses with schoolmate Ritsuka Uenoyama, who scolds him for neglecting his instrument. Impressed by Uenoyama's musical prowess, Satou implores him to repair and instruct him in guitar playing. Reluctantly, Uenoyama agrees, introducing Satou to his bandmates: bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji. Satou's mesmerizing vocals ignite Uenoyama's resolve to appoint him as the band's lead singer. Initially hesitant, Satou eventually accepts the role following a poignant reunion with an old acquaintance. With the encouragement of his newfound companions, Satou embarks on a journey not only to master the guitar but also to unravel the enigmatic circumstances surrounding his possession of the instrument.
