Raised as the young head of the Nura Clan, a boy named Rikuo Nura grapples with his dual heritage as part-youkai and part-human. While he considers his youkai clan members family, society views them with fear and suspicion. Determined to live a human life, Rikuo faces challenges balancing his normal aspirations with the supernatural world. Accompanied by his youkai attendant Tsurara Oikawa, the onmyouji Yura Keikain, and his youkai-fascinated friend Kiyotsugu, Rikuo must navigate rival youkai threats and his own destiny as the grandson of Nurarihyon. Embracing his lineage, Rikuo must learn to transform into a youkai at night to protect his loved ones and prove his worth as the clan's future leader.
