Despite their varying levels of popularity, high school classmates Chiharu Saeki and Wataru Toda share a close friendship. Saeki, known as the most attractive boy in their school, turns down numerous admirers by insisting he has feelings for someone else. United by their love for movies, Saeki and Wataru frequently visit the cinema together, taking turns choosing films. One day, post a movie outing, Saeki confesses his feelings to Wataru, assuring him that reciprocation is unnecessary. Instead, Saeki proposes a summer adventure exploring movie filming locations. Initially composed post-confession, Wataru finds himself grappling with his emotions towards Saeki as their shared journey unfolds.
