Shizuko Ayanokouji, an agricultural student, finds herself transported from her normal high-school routine to the Sengoku period in Japan after a mysterious encounter with a raindrop. Saved from bandits by the legendary Nobunaga Oda, she impresses him with her modern agricultural knowledge and is appointed as chief of a rural village. As Shizuko navigates this ancient world, her origins from the future may pose both a challenge and an opportunity as she strives to meet Nobunaga's expectations.
