Fast forward to modern-day Japan, where forensic artist Hakaru Amano aids the police with his drawings. His life takes a chilling turn when a woman, Hoshiko Akesato, seeks his help to sketch the man she encountered outside her home—a man resembling 'This Man' from the worldwide dreams. As events unfold, Hoshiko's mother falls victim to This Man's violence, leading Hakaru to a dangerous confrontation. Threatened by This Man with a deadly fate for mere sight, Hakaru and Hoshiko find themselves targeted by the villain's allies. Determined, Hakaru sets out to capture This Man and his cohorts, braving a sinister game of survival.
