Saeki Kanji, a 32-year-old bachelor, resides in a dwindling Japanese rural area. Originally a corporate worker in Tokyo with an economics degree, he embraced farming after inheriting his family's farm in Miyama village. His peaceful routine is disrupted when a mysterious woman in elaborate armor, proclaiming herself as a displaced royal from a different realm, seeks refuge at his door. As she settles in, she not only shares Kanji's abode but also becomes involved in revitalizing the village's agricultural landscape.
