With Christmas fast approaching, Takeo Komatsu finds himself in a grumpy mood, resenting those who eagerly anticipate Santa's visit. In a chance encounter, he discovers a luminous, spherical object and is startled by a voice behind him. Turning around, he is greeted by a girl riding a reindeer who claims to be Santa. She implores him to return the peculiar object, which turns out to be the reindeer's nose. Santa offers a reward in return, but to her surprise, Takeo returns it without seeking anything in exchange. Impressed by his selfless act, Santa deems Takeo a good child and decides to grant him a wish of finding a girlfriend. Now, Takeo must select a girl he admires before Christmas, with Santa ensuring that the chosen girl will reciprocate his affections.
