Sara Chidouin, a high school student, has been plagued by a sense of being surveilled lately. One evening, while walking home with her friend Joe Tazuna, they encounter a mysterious figure, triggering a panicked escape. After a sudden abduction, they awaken to find themselves ensnared in a lethal game. Escaping their confinement, they join nine other captives in a strange facility: homemaker Kai Satou, athlete Q-taro Burgerberg, artist Nao Egokoro, educator Kazumi Mishima, officer Keiji Shinogi, musician Reko Yabusame, wanderer Sou Hiyori, youngster Gin Ibushi, and student Kanna Kizuchi. To survive, the group must collaborate to unravel conundrums and evade deadly snares. Yet, a more sinister demand looms as their captors unveil a macabre twist: a vote to determine who meets their end.
