Yijae Choi, facing a series of failures and setbacks, reaches a breaking point where he contemplates suicide after losing everything to a bitcoin scam and seeing his ex-girlfriend move on. Death intervenes, offended by his nonchalant approach to death, and presents him with a grim challenge: relive death repeatedly in 13 different existences. Should he manage to outsmart death in each scenario, he earns the chance to live through those lives instead. With his own life in shambles, Yijae now grapples with the moral implications of controlling the fates of others.
