Kengou Kuroi, though a member of the Kuroguro syndicate, holds deep affection for his hometown. Despite his efforts to shield his criminal dealings from the community, his childhood friend Touma Shirakaba persistently declares his love for Kuroi, much to the amusement of their yakuza comrades. Shirakaba's striking appearance often blurs the line between him and the gang members. In an attempt to protect Shirakaba, Kuroi tries to keep him at arm's length, but his strategy falters when Shirakaba willingly assumes a role in the Kuroguro group as their legal consultant.
