After relocating to a new town, Mikoto Yamada faces social challenges at Uchouten High School. When the student council secretary, Ren Nekozaki, notices Mikoto's isolation, she pioneers a club at a shrine for the two to connect. Their tranquil space is disrupted by four eclectic individuals: Takuya Kumakura, Yozora Usagida, Airi Shishimaru, and Ritsu Pengin, united by their unconventional hobbies. With Uchouten's club mandate looming, the group establishes their own club to pursue individual passions. However, the lack of a club room prompts them to persuade Mikoto to share their shrine. While Ren initially worries about losing time with Mikoto, she eventually embraces the new dynamic. Despite their diverse interests, these girls forge a deep and unbreakable bond through their shared experiences.
