Mizuki, a reserved girl preparing for entrance exams, lives under the watchful eye of her strict mother, who worries about her academic performance. With her only solace found in confiding in her friend Mako, Mizuki sees a glimmer of hope for a future trip they dream of. Yet, when Mako proposes a seemingly harmless shortcut to earn money, neither of them foresees the dark turn their lives are about to take.
