When my childhood friend Magary is chosen to be the saint, she must adapt to a life of constant smiles and royal protocols in the stifling royal capital. Despite our lifelong bond, I feel a twinge of loneliness as I watch her being taken away by a knight. In a moment of mixed emotions, I impulsively push her towards her fate, sensing a hint of resentment in her cry for help. As she leaves for the royal capital, I bid her farewell, only to be soon caught up in a goblin chase on my way home. What follows is a comedic saga of a misfit hero and saint inadvertently hindering each other in their quest for happiness.
