Madoka Kawahara adores the charming boys she encounters in her manga, convinced that the most appealing ones are always cute, innocent, and sweet. To her dismay, Momoki Shikura, a handsome colleague at her family's restaurant, defies her ideal type with his cold, arrogant demeanor. Despite Madoka's repeated acts of kindness, Shikura remains indifferent, suspecting her motives. Their initial interactions are fraught with tension, Shikura consistently misjudging Madoka's intentions. Yet, as they work alongside each other, they both come to realize that first impressions can be deceiving. Over time, Madoka starts to question if there might be a softer, more endearing side to Shikura beneath his aloof exterior.
