Shizuki Aoi and Tsumugi Sakura, despite their distant lives and struggles, yearn for change. Aoi, a once hopeful high school student turned recluse, battles depression and heartbreak in his Tokyo apartment. In another corner of Japan, Sakura, with her unique appearance and bullied existence, finds an unexpected ally in Minazuki.
