For over a century, Earth has grappled with enigmatic 'dimensional gates' that ushered in a new era. These gates birthed extraordinary heroes known as 'hunters,' tasked with battling the monstrous entities emerging from these portals. Endowed by ethereal entities known as 'sponsors,' these hunters elevated themselves to the status of 'gods,' establishing the dominion of 'Eden' over the world. Those not chosen as hunters found themselves enslaved under these self-proclaimed deities. In the present day, Junkyung Lee, an ordinary and powerless individual, fervently trains to earn sponsorship as a hunter. Amidst his preparations, he and his mentor, Sungkoo, face a sudden assault from the ruler of Eden. Just as Junkyung faces imminent demise, Sungkoo intervenes, sending him a century back in time with a mission to reshape history and societal norms.
