In the world of rakugo, a young girl named Akane Osaki admires her father's storytelling skills and dreams of mastering this traditional art form. When her father fails a crucial promotion test and abandons rakugo, Akane's determination turns into a quest for retribution. Desperate to prove her father's talent, she implores his former mentor, Shiguma Arakawa, to train her. Reluctant at first, Shiguma challenges Akane to demonstrate her commitment by performing rakugo before an audience, testing her resolve to follow in her father's footsteps.
