In the aftermath of the One Year War, Cain Ragnard, orphaned by Zeon's assault on Side 7, enlists in the Earth Federation Forces seeking retribution. He becomes part of the elite unit Shadows dedicated to eradicating Zeon stragglers. Their mission to extinguish Zeon remnants in the Middle East takes a dark turn when betrayal fractures their loyalty and beliefs.
