In the twelfth installment of the Seishun Buta Yarou series, a new student, Sara Himeji, joins Sakuta's cram school. Sara, an honor student, is afflicted with Adolescence Syndrome caused by Touko Kirishima, but surprisingly, she shows no desire to have it cured. As Sakuta tries to unravel the mystery behind Sara's unique syndrome, he also receives a troubling message hinting at Mai's safety being at risk, adding another layer of complexity to his already tumultuous life.
