Ren, a university student, astonishes everyone by completing the highly-anticipated follow-up to the global sensation, Legend of the Seven Heroes, in record time. However, his world takes a fantastical turn when he is reborn into the game as an infant. Assuming he's the game's hero initially, Ren soon discovers he is the character slated to betray the protagonist midway through the story. As he matures, Ren retreats to the outskirts of society, only to cross paths with the very girl fated to end his life. Despite their growing bond, Ren finds himself inexorably drawn towards his tragic destiny.
