Lloyd, the Assistant Mage to the brilliant alchemist Ruby, struggles to collect alchemy materials due to his abnormally low success rate. His constant failures lead to ridicule and being the target of mockery throughout the country, with Ruby's daily scoldings pushing him to the brink of despair. Fed up with the toxic environment, Lloyd decides to leave Ruby behind. Little did anyone know, the materials he gathered were exceptionally rare and valuable, far beyond what others could obtain.
