During a visit to an endangered animal exhibit with her crush, Ichigo Momomiya is struck by a mysterious beam of light that merges her with a cat spirit. This transformation leads her to exhibit cat-like traits and confront a monstrous threat targeting her loved one. Guided by Ryou Shirogane and Keiichiro Akasaka, Ichigo learns about an alien parasite menace, the Chimera Anima, and the Mew Project that aims to combat them using the DNA of endangered Red Data Animals. However, a twist of fate caused the DNA to bond with Ichigo and four other girls instead, granting them unique powers. Now, Ichigo must navigate her dual identity as a pink cat-eared heroine, battling the alien invaders while concealing her secret from Masaya, all while seeking out her fellow teammates in this unexpected fight for Earth's safety.
