When a sudden zombie outbreak plunges society into chaos, high school student Takashi Komuro witnesses the brutality of the undead at Fujimi Academy. Seeking refuge on the school's rooftop with friends Rei Miyamoto and Hisashi Igou, they face the grim reality of a world overrun by zombies. In 'High School of the Dead,' Takashi and Rei join forces with a diverse group including the kendo club president Saeko Busujima, the intellectual Saya Takagi, the seductive school nurse Shizuka Marikawa, and the gun enthusiast otaku Kouta Hirano. Together, they must unite to defy the odds and survive the terrifying apocalypse.
