Professor Kawato, the fresh face in Futagotamaga high school, takes on the challenge of teaching Japanese to a notorious group of delinquents in the school's baseball club. After a year-long suspension from competitions due to their disruptive behavior, the club members show little interest in anything beyond vices like chasing after girls and lounging around. However, Kawato sparks a new ambition within them by introducing the goal of reaching Koushien, a prestigious high school baseball tournament. Overcoming obstacles like regaining their skills, mastering the game, and earning the trust of skeptical peers, including the school's principal and other teachers, becomes their mission in a race against time. Through perseverance and unity, the club transforms, fueled by Kawato's unorthodox methods that gradually inspire a shift in attitudes around them.
