Instead of meeting her end, she finds herself whisked away to an enigmatic forest teeming with peculiar flora and fauna. Amidst her exploration, she is assailed by a colossal, worm-like creature only to be rescued by Izark Kia Tarj, a silent swordsman. Recognizing her vulnerability, Noriko opts to trail her taciturn savior, seizing the chance to master the native tongue and aid Izark. Unbeknownst to her, Noriko is the linchpin in an age-old prophecy as 'The Awakening,' destined to unleash the dreaded 'Sky Demon.' As shadowy figures scheme to ensnare her for her presumed abilities, she and Izark must navigate a treacherous path fraught with uncertainty and turmoil.
