Hiro, torn between baseball and a peculiar interest, abandons the sport he loves due to an injury and enrolls in a school without a baseball team. Meanwhile, his childhood friend Hikari and star player Hideo wish he hadn't given up on baseball. Hiro finds solace in the soccer team but crosses paths with Haruka, a clumsy girl managing the unofficial baseball club. As tensions rise and the soccer team challenges the baseball club to a match for dominance, Hiro, appalled by the soccer team's conceit, makes a bold move and switches sides to save the day.
