In a modern Tokyo where traditional job skills seem obsolete, five students at a Buddhist university, comprising of three boys and two girls, discover a unique use for their unusual talents. Despite society deeming their knowledge in channeling, dowsing, and ESP as impractical, these abilities grant them a special connection to the deceased souls lingering in their lifeless bodies. Thus, they establish the Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service, dedicated to helping the dead find peace by transporting their bodies to their rightful destinations, be it due to suicide, murder, accidents, or illnesses.
