In the absence of Kenshin, Kaoru entrusts Yahiko with a mission to safeguard a fellow master's daughter at a different dojo. However, upon Yahiko's arrival, he is ensnared in a dangerous situation as the dojo falls into the hands of radicals, leading to his capture.
