Kinnikuman
Kinnikuman, also known as Kinniku Suguru, may seem like a cowardly and inept superhero with a love for gyudon, but beneath his clumsy exterior lies a prince from an alien world. Despite his flaws, he is remarkably honorable and can unleash great power when the occasion demands. Supported by his allies Meat-kun, Terryman, and Ramenman, Suguru embarks on a quest to claim the title of the ultimate Choujin. Through his unwavering determination and the bonds of friendship, Kinnikuman triumphs over foes far stronger than himself, often swaying them to his side. While his journey is fraught with comedic missteps, Kinnikuman gradually proves himself worthy of the esteemed mantle of a true hero. Notably, there was a 22-year hiatus between volumes 36 and 37, with the series relaunching in 2011 from volume 38 onwards. Recognized for its excellence, Kinnikuman received the 30th Shogakukan Manga Award for best children's manga in 1984.
