Amidst this grim backdrop, fellow youths like Satoshi drift between menial jobs, Momoko struggles as the forsaken daughter of a prostitute, and Hoichi navigates a web of illicit dealings, including ties to the suicide group. Despite his questionable pursuits, Hoichi harbors a poignant aspiration: to amass wealth, reclaim the village of his youth, and restore the city to its rustic origins.
