Hikari Hamura, known as Picasso for his artistic skills, navigates high school awkwardness at 17. With Chiaki Yamamoto as his sole companion, the two bond over riverside sketches and novels. Tragedy strikes when Chiaki dies in a helicopter crash they shared, leaving Picasso unharmed but bewildered. Discovering a miniature Chiaki posthumously, Picasso learns he should have perished too. To survive, he must wield his artistry and newfound ability to perceive others' struggles, diving into his drawings to aid those in crisis. Bound by a pact with fate, Picasso embraces his mission to save lives through his drawings.
