Onda Nozomi, a skilled soccer player in her second year of middle school, faces the challenge of being sidelined due to her gender. Despite her talent, endurance, and grace on the field, the physical differences between boys and girls hold her back, watching her male peers advance while she remains stagnant. Even her younger brother, Junpei, surpasses her. Coach Samejima recognizes her exceptional abilities but hesitates to let her play due to soccer's physical demands. Undeterred, Nozomi refuses to surrender, dedicating herself to intense training and inspiring her team with the dream of one day stepping onto the field.
