At a university, a special make-up class is arranged for students to earn the remaining credits by watching and ranking 24 short films. The films range from a story about computer viruses with adorable avatars to increasingly eccentric genres and tones. As the students become more puzzled by the bizarre films, their post-class discussions inadvertently immerse them in situations just as surreal and extraordinary as the movies they critique.
