Their idyllic getaway is soon disrupted by the menacing Monokuma, a bear who proclaims himself as their overseer. Monokuma unveils a twisted game—dubbed the 'School Killing Trip'—where escape hinges on committing the perfect murder without detection. As tensions rise and the first casualty is found, Nagito Komaeda, the 'Ultimate Lucky Student,' clings to a belief in the group's innocence.
