Ayumi Kohinata, a first-year high school student, experiences a whirlwind of emotions when she is confessed to by her crush and enters her first relationship. However, her happiness takes a drastic turn when her classmate Zenko Umine, known for being unpopular and unremarkable, threatens to jump off a building on the day of Ayumi's first date. After a mysterious incident, Ayumi wakes up in the hospital only to realize that she has swapped bodies with Umine. Desperate to reclaim her identity, Ayumi faces disbelief and mockery from her peers as she struggles to convince them of the bizarre switch. Despite her efforts, Umine, now in Ayumi's body, expresses her desire to live a more glamorous life and refuses to swap back.
