After a successful debut as an author, a high school student takes a break from academics to focus on writing. Upon returning to school and keeping their profession under wraps, they cross paths with Eri Nitadori, a popular rookie voice actress assigned to their anime adaptation. Despite being a recluse in class, they bond during their weekly train rides to the studio. As Nitadori seeks advice to hone her craft, the protagonist's world takes a drastic turn after a mysterious incident leaves them on the brink of death.
