Fuutarou Uesugi, a financially struggling and socially distant top student, crosses paths with Itsuki Nakano, a wealthy transfer student. Despite their initial conflicts, Uesugi discovers he is tasked with tutoring her and endeavors to build a rapport. Along the way, he encounters four additional girls, each adding a new dimension to his journey.
