In a world where levels determine one's standing, most people hover between Levels 1 to 5, except for monster-slayers. The ability to hunt monsters is reserved for the chosen few, guided by divine roles. Among the eight designated roles are Warriors, Fighters, Clerics, Magicians, Rogues, Merchants, Hunters, and Sorcerers. Those endowed with exceptional powers fall into three categories: Royalty, Heroes, and Sages. Meanwhile, the majority without such abilities make a living through farming and commerce. The backbone of towns are the humble Villagers, lacking in strength and risking death by venturing out to hunt monsters. However, a revelation strikes a two-year-old Villager – defeating monsters yields not just victory, but also immense riches.
