Meanwhile, Kagachi, a boastful fibber, reluctantly enters the competition at his niece Lily's behest despite his limited Pokémon knowledge. Striking a deal with the socially awkward scientist Torito for speech assistance, Kagachi surprisingly clinches victory. Amidst the festival's chaos, Satoshi crosses paths with Risa, a former regional track star on a quest to catch a Pokémon. However, calamity strikes as Team Rocket raids Torito's lab, causing the disappearance of the Wind Festival's Sacred Flame. As Satoshi and his comrades embark on a mission to unravel the mysteries and recover the stolen flame, they encounter a host of intriguing individuals, including Zeraora, the Thunderclap Pokémon presumed to have met its end.
