While the game received a Nintendo Switch version for western players, the card game, known as 'Dragon Ball Super TCG,' merged with its Japanese counterpart. The anime, based on the Prison Planet Arc from the game and the original manga arcs 'Big Bang Mission' and 'Ultra God Mission,' is not slated for traditional TV broadcast and is anticipated to be brief. These storylines are elaborated upon in the Heroes manga featured in Saikyou Jump magazine, existing in two distinct canons. Although not officially released in English, the inaugural episode premiered on July 1, 2018, at Aeon Lake Town.
