To his surprise, his own mother is part of this bizarre journey! Rather than the usual otherworldly scenario, they embark on an adventure together. Despite initial disagreements, Masato's mom expresses her desire to accompany him on this quest. Thus, they set off as an unconventional mother-son duo. Along the way, they befriend Porta, a charming traveling merchant, and Wise, a somewhat gloomy philosopher. With their newfound companions, Masato and his team kick off their expedition.
