Anemone is a production aimed at exploring the realms of hope and embracing the future. Over the past decade, Japan has witnessed a staggering annual suicide rate exceeding 30,000 individuals, surpassing by about tenfold the casualties of the Iraq war. While I may not possess the ability to single-handedly tackle this profound issue plaguing Japan, through the medium of animation, I aspire to ignite sparks of dreams and stir a semblance of longing in viewers, inspiring them to bravely face the days ahead.
