Kawai Haruto, a member of a film club striving to fulfill his filmmaking aspirations, finds his passion waning following the sudden loss of his best friend and rival, Hina Yusuke. Amidst this grief, he encounters Sendo Mahiro, who invites him to collaborate on a movie project. To Haruto's surprise, Mahiro reveals being present at Yusuke's tragic demise and feeling responsible for it. Meanwhile, Yusuke's younger sister, Hina Asuka, accuses Haruto of being the cause of her brother's death, adding to the turmoil surrounding their shared loss.
