Genzou Shibata, a wrestler with the physique of a mountain and a tender heart for animals, is known in the ring as the beloved 'Animal Mask.' While wrestling against his archenemy, the Macadamian Ogre, for the title of World Champion, he is unexpectedly whisked away to a fantasy realm by a princess in distress. Instead of immediately aiding her against the monster threat, Genzou demonstrates his unique style by subduing her with a surprise move. Stranded in this new world, he embarks on a mission as a beast hunter, determined to befriend and capture various creatures. Accompanied by Shigure, a wolf-girl, Hanako, a dragon-girl, and Carmilla Vanstein, a vampire, Genzou ventures into perilous quests, aiming to realize his unconventional ambition of owning a pet shop.
